A Tuesday in Vernon

COA on the hopper, retention samples on the shelf, cases on the dock by four.

The room is a registered cGMP suite in Vernon, not a barn with a pretty story. Tuesdays we weigh. Lemon balm is already assayed for rosmarinic acid. Reishi arrived Monday in a crate that still smelled like oak. Last month’s Dawn COA is taped above the hopper.

By noon the Dawn lot is in. By four, Marrow is in the tray and cases are on the dock. We keep retention samples for every lot. The notebook does not get photographed for Instagram. If a door calls about a lot number, we can put the COA in their inbox while they are still on the phone.

People ask if four SKUs is enough. It is the point. A nutrition shop does not need another 40-flavor pre. It needs a line the floor can remember, a MAP that holds, and a reorder that fits on one pallet jack. We pack to that.

Spores in Root stay honest at room temp. We check the count at six months because that is what a warehouse actually does to a tub. If the number moves, we change the claim. So far it has not.
